Established in 1982, the department of Chemical Engineering has organically evolved from its traditional engineering roots to develop environmental science and biotechnology expertise at its Research center since 2002, and envisions growth to meet the future demands of materials, chemical processes along with computational know-how for rational design of the same. Ongoing high technology projects with state-of-the-art facilities provide an environment for the overall career development of researchers, students and faculty alike.
