The academic excellence at RVCE is reflected in its students’ exemplary record in placements in the corporate and engineering sectors. RVCE has consistently maintaining an excellent recruitment record. The Graduate and Post-Graduate of RVCE have been recruited by some of world’s leading corporate. Besides leading Indian Companies, some of Notable Companies that visit our campus for placement of Post-Graduate are SIEMENS, Kennametal, Textron, ACE Micromatics, and BOSCH etc.
Every year 3 CIM Students are being offered with scholarships from KENNAMETAL.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
PEO1:
Practicing design of engineering systems through the application of the fundamental knowledge and skills of Mechanical Engineering
The PEO is expected to be achieved through the Applied Mathematics, core and elective courses, Project work, seminars, internship, etc. acquiring knowledge in the core areas of product development is a prerequisite for practicing design.
PEO2: Enhancing analytical, numerical, experimental, research and project management skills through training, independent inquiry, and professional development.
The PEO is expected to be achieved through use of modern tools for design, analysis and manufacturing and CAE, internship, project work, seminars, training, industrial visits, workshops, laboratory exercises and research based assignments. Introduction to Professional Skill Development course is offered under Humanities component. It enables the students to equip with oral and written communication skills, develop leadership, interpersonal skills.
PEO3: Working independently as well as collaboratively, while demonstrating the professional and ethical responsibilities of the engineering profession.
This PEO is expected to be achieved through project work, Internship, laboratory work, assignments, seminars and courses like Research Methodology and Project Management. The students are exposed to interdisciplinary skills through electives, experiential learning, research publications, seminars and project works. Students of Product Development and Manufacturing program are actively involved in interdisciplinary research projects on sustainable technologies.
