The Deartment of Industrial Engineering and Management is actively involved in motivating both staff and the students towards conducting various activities apart from the academics. InDustrial Engineering Association (IDEA) is an initiation of Department of Industrial Engineering and Management in order to create and spark innovation through various curricular, extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Activities 2022

• 3 day training program on “Automation and Robotics” by Future Robotics organised by IEM and Mechanical Dept., RVCE during 21^st Mar 2022- 23^rd Mar 2022.

• 3^rd joint International Five Days Online Winter School on “Production 4.0” and “Advanced Materials organised by during 16th – 20^th May 2022.

• Talk on Preparation for UPSC exams organised by Placement and IEM department on 31st May 2022.

• Interaction with Prof. Vinod Rajmani, FH Dortmund University, Germany and Faculty of IEM department to discuss “Future prospects of Industrial Engineering and current trends” on 12th July 2022.

• Project exhibition was conducted for VIII Semester Students on 22nd July 2022.

Activities 2021

• 2^nd Joint Five Day Online Winter School on “Robotics and Automation” and “Advanced Materials for Engineering Applications”  for UG and FHWS students, during 1^st to 5^th March 2021 organised by RVCE In association with University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Germany.

• IEM Alumni Day – 2021 was celebrated on 29^th May 2021 at 6.00 pm via RVCE CISCO WebEx Platform. Around 85 alumni participated and 146 members had registered.

• Webinar Session on “Journey from RVCE to FORBES” by Ms. Vibha Harish, Founder Cosmix, RVCE Alumnous on 08^th May 2020 Under IDEA.
