R V College of Engineering is one of the Premier technical institutes of the country. The Institute has been rated among the Top 6 Institutions in India for Industry Academic Collaboration by the recent AICTE-CII-PWC Survey.

RVCE has been selected by the World Bank, for the award of financial assistance under Subcomponent 1.2. This empowers the institution to scale-up the Post Graduate Education and Demand Driven Research & Development and Innovation. RVCE has initiated several activities to meet the Training needs of faculty. Pedagogical Training, Domain Specific Workshops, Seminars, Conferences and Symposiums have been conducted periodically.
