Dr. CH. Renu Madhavi, HoD, Dept. of E&IE have given an interview in Industrial Automation Magazine, March 2020 on the account of Women’s Day Special.

Product Design

Dr. Kendaganna Swamy S and Technical Team of E&IE have developed the non-contact sanitizing Product 'Touch Free Hand Sanitizer Dispenser' during COVID – 19. Funded by RSST, Bengaluru.

Dr. Kendaganna Swamy S conducted 2 days’ workshop on “Metacognitive Hybrid Learning Model for OBE using ICT Tools”, at GMIT, Davenagere on 21st – 22nd Jan, 2020.

  • Dr. Rachana S.Akki received Mentor Award for 5th Mitsubishi-Electric Cup 2020, National Level Competition for Factory Automation, conducted by Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt.Ltd, Japan, The project titled  “SMART FLOOD CONTROL AND INTELLIGENT DAM COORDINATION SYSTEM by TECHNO- TUNERS", won 9th appreciation prize at the National level competition from October 2019 to February 2020.

  • Dr. Kendaganna Swamy .S and Dr. Deepashree Devaraj received Mentor Award for Anveshan 2020 Design fellowship program conducted by analog devices, Bengaluru.

  • Dr. CH.Renu Madhavi delivered Expert Lecture on  'Effective Pedagogy using Tinker CAD' under IUCEE VIRTUAL ACADEMY on 28th May, 2020.

  • Official NPTEL Course translator in TELUGU Language for  the Course- Integrated circuits,MOSFETS &Opamps and their Applications(5.30 hrs)

  • Thirteen Faculty members have been awarded Doctoral degree (Ph. D).

  • Faculty members are invovled in Organizing series of workshop for students under "Embedded IOT Workshop-CISCO RVCE, Centre of Excellence".

  • Faculty members are actively involved under Consultancy activity for "TE Connectivity India Pvt Ltd, Shirwal, Maharashtra.for the Project"Performance/Reliability testing of Raspberry Pi controller", Project Cost: 3.00 Lakhs  and SAMSON AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGIES [SAT], Panchakula, Haryana for the Project: “Design of an Automated System to Pick and Place Gift Toys from Bowl to the Conveyor”, Project Cost: 12.00 Lakhs.

  • Two Faculty members have cleared the National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) Exam on June 10th 2016.

  • Faculty members have presented and published more than 200 technical papers in International  and National Journals, International and National conferences.

  • Few faculty members are working on ongoing research projects sanctioned by UGC, BPRD, DRDO, DST & NRB,MODROBS.

  • Faculty members have attended many conferences conducted in all over India.

  • Some of the faculty members have been honored and have received awards like Academic Excellence, Best Teacher and Best Paper Awards from RSST and other institutions.

  • Faculty members are in the Board of Studies of other autonomous engineering colleges.

  • Prof. S. Venkatesh has received a sum of 8.05 Lakhs under MODROBS, AICTE-New Delhi for Universal Process Control Trainer.
