Industry Institute Interaction

Department has MoUs with Bosch Rexroth (Centre of Competence for Automation Technologies set up), Kennametal ,  TATA Technologies, Decibel,Mercedes Benz , Fanuuc,Toyota,TE Connecitivity.Morris Gararage. (Consultancy and Collaborative R&D).

Department conducts workshops on various cutting edge technologies involving active participation/Training from Industry experts

The department has an Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), which takes up following activities:

  • Students are encouraged to take up Industry based Project works and Industry based internships. Some of the industries where students are doing their projects and internships are HAL, NAL, L&T, Kennametal, ISRO, Bosch, Toyota, etc.

  • Technical talks by industry experts are arranged for students and staff members

  • Industrial Visits are arranged for students.

  • Training programmes and workshops are arranged for students in emerging fields like CAD/CAM/CAE and Advanced Materials

  • Consultancy and Product Development projects for industries.

  • Industry Sponsored Projects are undertaken.

An Expert Talk by Dr. K Ramachandra, Former Director Gas Turbine Research Establishment, on Employment Potential and Re-Skilling Requirements for Post Graduate Students in Mechanical Engineering, in 30 March 2022 @ Dept of ME, RVCE.

Three Day hands-on workshop on “Microcontroller and IoT” to the PG Students of ME Program in 24 March 2022.

Expert Interaction with Mr. Martin Schwenk, CEO, MBIL, Pune, as a part of RV-Mercedes Benz Centre for Automotive Mechatronics Centre of Excellence on 18 March 2022.
