In addition to teaching the faculty members of the Department have to their credit the following Achievements

  • Dr Hemanthkumar B has qualified CSIR-UGC NET, December 2012 for junior research fellowship and lectureship in Mathematical sciences.

  • Dr Hemanthkumar B has received annual exemplary faculty-teaching award on 7/9/2020 in Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru.

  • Dr.Sakshath T N bagged  fifth rank  in B.Sc, Bangalore University.

  • Dr.Sakshath T N was awarded "Young Scientist Award" in the 62nd Congress of the Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ISTAM) (International Conference) held at Osmania University, Hyderabad-500 007, India during December 15-18, 2017.

  • Dr.Sakshath T N  has qualified in Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in the year 2016 for Assistant professor and Lectureship in Karnataka.

  • Dr.Sakshath T N  got Best paper award in the International Conference on Applications of Fluid Dynamics (ICAFD) held at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India during December 13-15, 2018

  • Dr. Suman N. P has cleared KSET Exam (2018).

  • Dr. Ravi K M awarded “Young Faculty Award” in the category of (Science/Mathematics) of the VIFFA 2015 held on 5th July 2015 at Chennai.

  • Mr. Prakash. R has won the second place in Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematics competition – 2014 - 15 examinations state level on 11th Feb, 2015.

  • In May 2011, department was recognized as research centre by VTU for carrying out research work.

  • Dr. G. Jayalatha awarded Young Scientist Award in the Award Session for Young Researchers below 30yrs of age in 53rd Congress of ISTAM, an International Meet, held at University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad on 27th to 30th Dec 2008.
