Project : Understand the effect of Vortex Generators (VG) on fighter aircraft wing.
Responsibilities :
- Guided bachelor students in executing academic projects.
- External aerodynamic simulations for different aerodynamic geometries like airfoils, vortex generator, sports, cars and winglets.
- Design, development and optimization of vortex generators on fighter wing.
- Optimizing winglet type to reduce induced drag on UAV wings.
Tools used: ANSYS ICEM, CFX, Fluent, MS office 2007
Project guided:
- Numerical Investigation on Flow Separation Control over NACA0012 airfoil and drag reduction using Flow Energizing Bubble.
- Numerical investigation of UAV wing and reduction of drag using winglet optimization.
