The students of 3^rd semester MCA, RVCE have won Overall Championship Winner Trophy at National Level Intercollegiate Technical fest “E[X]PECTATIONS 2023”, Organized by Christ (Deemed to be University) on 20^th and 21^st January 2023.

The students of 3rd semester MCA, RVCE have won Runner Up Trophy at National Level Intercollegiate Technical fest “SHELLS23” organized by Kristu Jayanti College on 25th January 2023. Ashutosh S, Madhuri Jogoji, B R Bhargav, Gaurav Shankaram, Deepak M Boormane, Altamish Chowdhry, Akash, Jay Shah, Shireesha K B, Winil Joseph Rodrigues, Thejas P, Rohan, Vaibhav K, Aishwarya K and PunnethKUmar V from 3rd semester MCA had participated in the fest and won the prizes in events listed below.

Sports

1. Rakshitha M P 1RZ19MCA27 (Team captain) from 6th semester MCA and Nandini N S 1RV20MC056 from 4th semester MCA have been felicitated with memento on "Achievers Day Functions" of Sports students who have represented Karnataka, VTU and the college teams for the year 2021-22 at 12.00 Noon on the 10th of August 2022 by RVCE for their achievement in Throwball.
2. Nandini N S from 4 th Semester MCA and Rakshitha M P from 6 th semester MCA had represented RVCE Women Throwball team and participated in the VTU South Zone Throwball Tournament held at KSSEM, Bengaluru on 6th and 7th June 2022.
3. Y S Kiran Kumar and Adarsh V Morye of 1st semester MCA, had represented RVCE Football team, participated and won “Runner-Up Trophy” in the event Momentum-22 intercollegiate Football Tournament held at RVCE, Bengaluru from 31st May to 03rd June 2022

           4. Apoorva.B.S, 4 th Semester MCA, has secured 3rd place in the RVCE emerging yoga student of the year-2021.

3. Gururaj Koni from 4th semester MCA had Judeged the event ARTOPHORIA (Designing) event in IT Fiesta named “EVOGEN 11.0” organized by BCA Department, Karnataka Law Society’s Gogte College on 7th of July 2022.
4. Goutham AS from 4th Semester MCA certified that vulnerability in the website found by Geeks for Geeks by Mr. Sandeep Jain, Founder & CEO, Geeks for Geeks
5. Gururaj Koni from 4th Semester MCA, 2nd place in Hackthon (IT Domain) at WIE Congress 2022, held at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology Belagavi, from 26th to 28th March 2022 organized by IEEE NORTH KARNATAKA SUB-SECTION, in association with IEEE KLS GIT WiE Affinity Group Student Chapter (SBA28191).
6. Goutham A S from 4th semester MCA, is continuosly involved and being rewarded by various companies for his effort in bug identification and ethical hacking. Some of the rewards include: 700 $ from PWC, 150$ from Code Chef, 2800$ from HubSpot. 7. Swati Suman and Riya from 4th Semester participated in the “5 th National Level IEEE Project Competition-2021” Organized by IEEE Student Branch (STB17861), GSSSIETW in association  with IEEE Bangalore Section and IEEE Mysore Subsection on 26 th June 2021.
8. N Dinakara, Niranjana P Datta, Renick Andrew, Nahak Himanshu, Shreya Sakshi, Rahul Kumar from 4 th semester and Mohammed Saqib, Yashas P, Ankit Kumar,Akshay T N from 2 nd semester had participated in “Syntaxia 2021” on 21 st and 22 nd May 2021 in online mode organized by St. Joseph’s Collge (Autonomous) Bengaluru.
9. Nahak Himanshu, K Rahul Kumar and Niranjana P Datta have secured third place in the BrainStorm event of Syntaxia 2021.
10. Apoorva.B.S, 4th Semester has been awarded a certificate of achievement for the successful completion of Building a Face Recognition Application using Python as a part of AI-For-India Event on 25 th April 2021.
11. Sohail Hussain, 1RZ18MCA32 participated in round 1 of the TATA Imagination challenge 2020.

1. Anusha M 1RV19MCA11 from 4th semester MCA has attended Cyber Security Summer Internship program 2021 conducted from June to July 2021 at Cyber Crime Cell, Gurugam Police.

6. Apoorva.B.S, 4^th Semester has been awarded a certificate of achievement for the successful completion of "Build a Face Recognition Application by Python" as a part of AI-For-India Event on 25th April 2021.

Cultural Events

• Tejas P from 2nd Semester MCA participated in the competition "Nightingale of Bangalore 2022" held in Surana College on 29th July 2022, Friday. The competition was about performing any song of any language and it was freestyle, and She has been selected as top 15 participants among total of 80 participants.

Karthik S of 6th Sem MCA has participated and Got the second runner up in Gaana Chandana Kannada Gaana thare competition conducted by Door Darshan Chandana TV programe

1. Akhil S, Santhra K Roy, participated as a resource person in 5 days virtual hands-on workshop on augmented reality organized by IEEE student Branch national college Jayanagar from 26th to 30th November 2020.
2. K Rahul Kumar-1RV19MCA38 of 3rd semester MCA completed Pandas Python Library for Beginners in Data Science through Course Era.
3. Deepak Kumar Singh (Passed out Batch) Jojode Yashwanth, Dhanush Digitizetion of 5th Semester MCA completed a project on Digitization of  ECG Signel Recovery for Healfh Analysis during the period of August 2019 to July 2020 for Imderix Systems, Bangalore.
4. Apoorva B.S, II SEM successfully participating in National Level Quiz Competition On Web Programming Organized by Department of Computer Science, S.J.R College for Women on 15th July 2020
5. Certificate Participation was given to Apoorva.B.S and Ashish Bharadwaj, II Semester MCA for attending webinar on Web Application Security on 12th June 2020,conducted by Department of CSE & IT, Lo Institute of Technology, Chennai, in association with CSI Student Chapter and National Cyber Safety and Security Standards.

7. Certificate Appreciation to Apoorva.B.S, II Semester MCA for successful completion of Covid-19 Awareness Quiz from 19th to 24th April 2020 conducted by Department of MCA, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Around 50 students completed online certification courses and 130 students attended and completed webinars/ seminars in various domains.

• Sachin S Bharamayyanawar from 1^st semester MCA had Represented Karnataka state for the 1^st Invitational National Level Karate Championship-2019 organized by Belagavi District Sports Karate Association at KPTCL Hall, opposite JNMC Belagavi on 20^th & 21^st December 2019, and won 1^st place in Kumite in 21-25 years age category

• Santosh S from 1^st semester MCA had participated in 22^nd State level invitational Karate Championship -2019, on 8^th Dec 2019, organized by HMT sports Club Bengaluru, and won second place.

• Mr Kishore Yadhav won 3^rd Prize for the Technical paper " Virtual Reality – A Novel approach for HealthCare " at Yukthi-2K19 Student Technical Symposium conducted by New Horizon College of Engineering, Department of MCA on 5^th April 2019.
• Cognizant Technology Solutions conducted a training program for students to understand the latest developments in IoT with respect to industrial applications. • Janardhan B V, Roshan 4^th Semester Students attended " QualNet Network SimulatorVer 8.2" workshop on 18th and 19th February 2019 at CSE -PG Lab Organized by Dept of CSE, RVCE.
• A webinar on "Cisco Diverse Leadership Forum 2019", hosted by CCW (Cisco Connected Women) India ERG (Employee resource Group) with the theme of Multidimensional leadership was facilitated at the Department of TCE, Seminar Hall, RVCE, on 15^th February 2019 was attended by 24 students from 4^th semester MCA Department.
• IV semester MCA attended one day Multidisciplinary National seminar on ‘Dynamics of Intellectual Property Rights’ on 13^th March 2019 at Govt. First Grade College, Vijayanagar in association with Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre (VTPC), Department of Industries & Commerce, Govt.of Karnataka. • Bharath P Dikshith, 4th semester student was felicitated under the category Students- Extra-ordinary achievements at the Annual get- together of the RVCE Trust on 26th January 2017
• Ashish M Saraph from 2nd semester MCA represented karnataka state and won 1st place under the age group of 20-30(Male) in yogasana championship for schools and colleges-2017 organized by SGS International Yoga Foundation College and Research Center, Bengaluru.
• Akash Heggeri, 4th semester MCA student working for Indian Snake Bite Initiative of Big-4 Mapping and 2945 snakes were rescued.
• Ms. Divya M Belagur, 4th Semester student secured 3rd place in Chess, Inter department Annual Sports meet held during January/February 2017 at RV College of Engineering
