The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (Telecommunication Engineering) Department was started in the year 1992 and now conducts one Undergraduate Program(Electronics & Telecommunication Engg.), one postgraduate program (M. Tech in Digital Communication Engineering) with academic autonomy and Ph.D program with affiliation under VTU. There are a total of 21 experienced faculty members in the department in four core specializations namely Wireless Communication, Signal processing, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Microwave communication & Networking in the Department. Department has MOU with companies such as Tektronix India Pvt.Ltd., DADB India Pvt. Ltd., Keysight Technologies for enhancing the research profile and quality of U.G and P.G projects. Industry Specific Laboratories are established to promote research, development and product Engineering.
