This program is aimed to provide the students with a wide variety of opportunities, both in the Industry as well as in the R & D fields. The curriculum is designed to make the students excel in areas of Advanced modulation techniques, Error control, Networking, Satellite Communications, Mobile and Wireless Communications, Microwave and Antenna designs. To build on these strong base students can specialize by choosing electives like Advanced Digital Signal processing, Image processing, Data Compression, Radar Systems, Optical Communications & Networking, Large Area & Flexible Electronics. Students also get an opportunity to do projects in industry based laboratory set up like PACE Ltd.
Eligibility: Candidates who have acquired BE/ B. Tech /AMIE degree in Electronics and Communication, Telecommunication Engineering and Instrumentation Technology by securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate are eligible. However in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Group 1, aggregate percentage of marks in qualifying examination should not be less than 45%. The admissions are through central counseling on the basis of merit in PGCET or GATE. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for scholarship through AICTE.
